Cochin – Munnar – Cochin

Day 1 : Cochin
On arrival at Cochin Meet and assistance at the airport/ railway station Transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is free for you to explore the City of Cochin which is the commercial Capital of Kerala. Overnight at Cochin.

The attractions are:-
Bolgatty Island – Bolgatty Palace build by Dutch in 1744.
Jewish Synagogue
Dutch Palace – Mattancherry
St. Francis Church – Fort Cochin and Chinese Fishing Nets etc.

Back to hotel overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2 : Cochin to Munnar (135 Km /4Hrs approx)
Breakfast at hotel Proceed to Munnar on the way visit Hill Palace Museum – Thripunithura 13 Km from Cochin town, this museum displays the erstwhile wealth and prosperity of The Royal family of Kochi. Afternoon Depart to Munnar (135 Km, 4Hrs). While traveling from Cochin to Munnar, enjoy the scenic beauty & the marvelous waterfalls, high mountains with the low flying clouds passing by. On Arrival at Munnar check in at hotel. Rest of the day at leisure

Day 3 : Munnar
After Breakfast enjoy the scenic beauty of Munnar which is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathani & Kundala. 1600 meter above sea level this hill station was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. Sprawling Tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, and holiday facilities make this a popular resort town.
Munnar also has the highest peak in South India - Anamudi, which towers over 2695 mtrs. Anamudi is an ideal spot for trekking. Among the exotic flora found in the forests and grasslands here is the Neelakurinji. This flower which bathes the hills in the blue every 12 years.

The Attractions are:-

Eravikulam – Rajamalai Wildlife Sanctuary – 15 Kms From Munnar Town this is a National Park the highest peak in south India 2695 mtrs is located here called ANAMUDI PEAK.
Mattupetty Lake & Dam 13 Kms from Munnar Town

Day 4 : Munnar – Marayoor – Munnar (40Km / 2 Hrs approx)
After breakfast proceed to Marayoor.
Marayoor – This Town is 40 Kms from Munnar and is the only sandal Forest (To enter the sandal forest permission must be acquired from the Department of Forest – Govt of Kerala.) The way to Marayoor you can enjoy the scenic beauty & the marvelous waterfalls, high mountains with the low flying clouds passing & the Tea plantations.
Over night stay at hotel at Munnar.

Day 5 : Munnar to Cochin (135Km /4 Hrs approx)
Breakfast at hotel at Munnar, and proceed to Cochin (135 Km, 4Hrs). Transfer to Cochin International Airport / Railway Station for your Flight / Train to onward destination.
